CANADIAN COUNTY
RESURFACING PROJECT
The resurfacing project for North Calumet Road will begin on Monday, March 17th.
Traffic will be diverted during the phases of the project. Each phase below is estimated to take 1 day but could possibly take longer.
PHASES:
3/17/2025 - Milling will begin. After the milling is completed, the road will be packed and reopened to traffic.
3/25/2025 – A cement slurry mix will be laid down. After this phase is completed, the road will be reopened to traffic.
3/31/2025 – Asphalt resurfacing. Road will be reopened once completed.
DETOURS:
North bound traffic on highway 270 (especially large truck traffic) will proceed through town, around the curve towards Geary, to west Red Rock Rd. Turn north on W. Red Rock Rd., proceeding to 150th Street. Turn east on 150th Street, back to N Calumet Rd.
South bound traffic will turn East on Memorial Road and continue East until Fort Reno Road. Head South on Fort Reno Road to Highway 66.
