Seasonal Help Wanted
The Town of Calumet is accepting applications for Temporary Seasonal Help for the Calumet Public Works Department. Applications must be submitted by May 30th, 2025.
A Temporary employee is anyone who works for a specified period, usually less than 90 days, regardless of the number of hours worked. Temporary employees are not eligible to receive any paid benefits.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Grounds Maintenance
- Upkeep of Town Buildings
- General Construction and related tasks
- Use, Care and Maintenance of Town vehicles, Lawn Equipment, Standard Electrical Tools & Hand Tools.
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- No experience required.
- Ability to follow safety practices during the use of Town Vehicles, Tools, and Equipment.
- Willing to perform duties under adverse weather conditions.
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
Pay will be discussed during the interview process.
